Thanks to all the teachers, parents and workshop leaders for your support and feedback regarding our new Sunday school curriculum this year.  Trying this new format out has been quite an adventure and yet it has also been extremely rewarding to see the kids excited about diving into the Sunday school workshops each week to learn new perspectives on our traditional Bible lessons.  We hope the children have truly absorbed these lessons more thoroughly into their daily lives and activities and carry with them a new enthusiasm on their spiritual paths.

Thank you to Bob and Heather Wenzel, Audrey Dufel, Davee Shuh, Linda Strohacker, High School youth with Heather LeSieur and Dale Larsen and Holly Graham for leading lessons in March and April about Holy Week, Easter and the Plagues.

Please join in worship on May 16th as we recognize Zion’s 2010 Confirmation students - Courtney Brandon, Emily Hackworth, Lloyd Livengood, and Augie Wheeler. 

Sunday School workshops end on May 2nd.  The teachers will be leading lessons on May 9th and 16th.  Please see the calendar below for more activities.  Susan Swidnicki likes to finish each year with a parent and child choir demonstration.  We hope you can participate in this light-hearted time of music and fellowship.

Lastly, we’d like to thank Verna Hansen for baking the wonderful Easter cookies that were included in the baskets assembled by our Sunday school children for our homebound members. Thanks again to Heather and Audrey for helping organize this year’s Easter Craft Workshop.
