What are Small Groups?
What is a Small Group?
A Small Group of people (6-10) who gather on a regular basis in neighborhood homes or at church for the purpose of growing in relationship with God and with each other and becoming fluent in the Book of Faith (the Bible).
God intends for us to experience life together. We do this by providing a safe place to share our stories, practice unselfish loving, do church or community service projects, study God’s Word and support one another. We do community together.
Jesus had a Small Group, his disciples. “For where two or three have gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst” (Matthew 18:20 NIV). The early Christian church was made up of Small Groups. We encourage you to learn more about Small Groups at Zion. Life is meant to be shared.
Why Should I Join a Small Group?
We believe that Small Groups are the best way to get connected to the “body” of Zion and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. Learn how to live the Christian life while cultivating relationships that truly make a difference in your everyday life. We do life together.
What Will We Study?
Each Small Group decides together what they study. There may be times when all Small Groups study the same topic.
