Greetings from South Jordan, Utah!
The move to 10128 S. Redwood Road (Suite I) in South Jordan has been wonderful. We continue to grow (slowly, but surely). Our new worship space works magnificently for worship (see photo). With the new space we are able to have more Bible studies, Sunday School for children and adults, potlucks, and monthly game nights. We are also partnering with St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in providing a local food pantry.

Christ the King Lutheran Church was in the South Jordan Countryfest Parade in June. Out float theme was “A Heritage of Religious Freedom.” We had three banners preceding the float, one saying “Jesus,” one saying “Forgiven,” and one saying “Rejoice.” As far as we know, we were the only church in the parade.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers for Christ the King in South Jordan!

Greetings from South Jordan, Utah!
After 19 months worshipping in a movie theater WE’RE MOVING! October 26th will be our first Sunday in our new worship location at 10128 S. Redwood Road (Suite I) in South Jordan. We have an office, which is also the Sunday School room. Our worship space can hold over 90 seats, and there is a fellowship/coffee area. Best of all, we will have our own facility all week long, making it available for Bible studies, fellowship, youth activities, etc.
In this new space we will also have a more ‘permanent’ location, with a sign so that people will know we exist every day of the week. Our sign on Redwood Road will have more than 25,000 cars per day driving by, knowing that Christ the King exists!
On Christ the King Sunday, November 23rd, we will have an official dedication of our new worship space. Pastor Jim Hytjan from the Rocky Mountain Synod office will be with us. Your congregation is invited to send representatives to worship with us on this blessed occasion. Worship will begin at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow worship. It’s a great opportunity to see what God has been doing in South Jordan.
Please continue to pray for Christ the King Lutheran Mission (and Pastor Scott and MarJean).
