Habitat for Humanity
Zion members participate in the construction of homes for poor families through habitat for Humanity during designated spring and summer workdays. Typically three such workdays are scheduled each year, often in conjunction with other Lutheran churches.

For those who would really like to put a charge in the month of July please read the invitation to participate in the mega‐food drive for July, the Golden Celery Challenge, posted on the church bulletin board. It is a fun way to help Crossroads during a month when most food donations dry up, plus the winning congregation gets bragging rights and a really cool trophy for the next year!
